ALSATIAN RIESLING: DEPTH AND GRACE
“What a beautiful garden!”, exclaimed Louis XIV after the discover of the Alsatian territory.
The magnificent vineyards cultivated with obsessive care, make Alsace one of the most picturesque regions of France.
The third and final appointment of this cycle of tastings, comes with the king of the most famous Alsatian wines, Riesling.
It is considered one of the best white grape varieties in the world. The fineness of its acid structure, the strength and, sometimes, delicacy of its aromas, its intimate connection with the mineral world make Riesling a wine whose depth and grace you’ll never stop to admire.
On this days, 51 terroirs are delimited according to strict geological and climatic criteria make up the mosaic of the Grands Crus of Alsace.
During the tasting we will explore some of the best Cru consecrated for Riesling. Our journey will take us through these beautiful territories, revealing the uniqueness that characterizes them and the secrets that they manage to transmit in the wine.
This event will let us discover 5 Grands Crus distributed throughout the Region, some famous for more than a thousand years, others from a few decades.
Guided by the Enologist, Stefano Trinco, we will discover, inside the glass, the magic of the link between the climate, the land, the vineyard and the hand of men.
